Orchid Gallery
Situated on the outskirts of Moalboal, the Orchid Gallery is well worth a visit. In 1992 the owners started the collection of orchids in their back yard. They opened for business in 1994 and now have over 300 varieties. You can stroll around the farm, which now covers three and a half hectares and purchase plants or cut flowers from 8.00 am. There is also a swimming pool which is open to the public between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm. If you wish, a guide will show you around, pointing out the different species and showing you how orchids are cultivated. Not an easy task. |
