0 to 40 Meters

5 to 20 Meters

The house reef is easily reached, and with varying shallow ledges, makes it the ideal place for beginners and snorkelers. The reef was damaged badly in the 1982 typhoon that took the sandy beach away, though there are pristine patches of coral and one of these is in front of Quo Vadis Beach Resort. The house reef ”Pool” ,where training takes place, is home to sand eels, the perfect audience with their ringed eyes and black lips.

There are many other permanent residents, a group of bat fish swimming in formation is a frequent sight. Many of the less common creatures have also been sighted by reliable sources. I myself have seen the dance of the blue ringed octopus, in 5 meters! For the more experienced diver ”Pedong’s Cave” and ”Narc Rock” offer exciting dives and rich varieties of marine life.
